I hope you are enjoying the festive Christmas holidays with your loved ones! Today I am seeing checked patterns everywhere đ€Ș. You must have certainly noticed my preference for this particular type of patterns. For some reason, I do not see many different patterned fashion pieces in my wardrobe. I mean, yes, there are plenty of different colors and a patterned piece here and thereâŠ
However, I decided to change that and I have been piling up checked fashion pieces đ. No matter if coats, trousers, suits or like I am wearing here, dresses, I love them all. I do also believe that especially red color combination are always a good idea during the holidays. Maybe we can thank Coca Cola for that, or maybe not âșïž.This gorgeous checked dress is by Alexandre Vauthier.
The French haute couture designer created an every fashionistaâs dream with this stunning, multicolor Scottish moor dress. The cute puffed sleeves in combination with the drapery on the front and the noble looking golden brooch, which is refined with sparkling rhinestones, make it a sophisticated high-class fashion piece. Another one of my favorite features of this dress is that finally someone actually put some thought into where to place a zipper. You can already guess what struggle I am referring to, can you not? đ€Ł
The dressâ zipper is conveniently located along the right shoulder, which means you do not necessarily need a helping hand to get in or out of the dress đ.
And what made this dress even more perfect for me, was that I had just very recently snatched these breathtaking, pearly green colored, glossy patent leather boots âAlexâ by Alexandre Vauthier. These killer boots convince with a sharp, pointed-toe design and their above-the-knee height.Nevertheless, as we have reached the colder season of this year and you should not leave the house just wearing a dress and boots, I styled a super cuddly coat (which is wearable inside out as well) by NOVE to my look.
Not only did the wonderful red color tone match nicely to my outfit, but this lamb fur coat also kept me nice and warm.
The sophisticated clue here is that if you wear the coat inside out its design even changes a little!

This cutie comes with a removable and length-adjustable shoulder strap and golden hardware. Simply a classy and stylish bag you cannot do anything wrong with đ. My lovely partner in crime, Marcel, has naturally matched his look to mine, which is why he incorporated at least one checked fashion item. In this case, it was this great flannel shirt by Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, on top of a white, fitted shirt and black fitted trousers by Dsquared 2.
