Today’s look is an ultimate summer outfit, if you ask me 😊. It contains a bright signal color, light cloth and a sophisticated design! And as I totally had to share this gorgeous outfit with you, we took a few nice pictures before “we got this party started” because “a little party never killed no body” 😉.
However, I guess I have to rewind a little bit at this point. So, before we went to the Bunte Party, we attended one of this season’s fashion week highlights: the Lascana fashion show.Not only was it a spectacular show, where stunning swimwear and sexy lingerie were presented, but its guests were even more spectacular! Among others, top model and Victoria’s Secret Angel, Alessandra Ambrosio was literally THE guest of honor. And how do you let an eventful day better fade away than by ending it with a party?!
Right after the Lascana show the Bunte New Faces Night took place at the lovely Hotel Zoo.By the way, this was conveniently also where we stayed at, so the way to our beds afterwards was luckily very short. However, for me this also meant that I had to change outfits in the car on our way there 😉.
So, I hopped in this marvelous dress by Jacquemes, which I have found on stylebop.com.The “La Robe V-Neck Drape Dress” is crafted from yellow woven wool. It has so many sophisticated details that I do not even know which one to start with.Thanks to the deep V-neck, the thin shoulder straps and the fitted cut, this dress nicely underlines the feminine silhouette.The draped skirt features heavy ruffles as well as pleating details.
I have decided to style yellow-colored accessories to my look, as I wanted to give it a monochrome finish.The geometrical, oversize earrings “Cara” as well as the gorgeous “Mia” clutch are both made of fine stingray leather by a cuckoo moment.By the way, statement earrings are THE summer must-haves this year.
Edgy designs (the bigger the better) and signal colors add the right finish to any summer look. My personal advice for brown-haired women: consider brighter colors and avoid brown shades and black, as your hair color will block the effect. The “Mia” clutch completed my look perfectly, not only in terms of color, but also due to its size. A bigger purse would have overloaded the already striking look.Furthermore, it fits perfectly in your hand and offers a nice grip. Thanks to the magnetic catch, the “Mia” clutch opens and closes effortlessly.
The inside is covered with homochromatic canvas fabric and offers a small side pocket. Finally yet importantly, I combined these glamorous sandals with pearl details and tassels by Paula Cademartori. However, I feel that the most sophisticated feature is the metallic coloring on the heels. These beauties have been on my wish list for quite some time, but their acquisition turned out to be a little mission impossible.Nevertheless, all’s well that ends well… I was lucky and found them on farfetch.com 😉.
