Hello my dear ones!
I have to admit, today’s look is surely one of my favorite ones. These days it is very hard to say designer X or designer Y is my favorite one, because there is just too many talented artists out there. But that’s the beauty of freedom of choice! You can pick as many as you want 😉.
So, even though I have a lot of great talents that I admire and that I love wearing, the current Balmain collection fascinated me right away.
Not only is it very feminine, but also very sophisticated.
This beautiful soft-leather jacket with big golden buttons has shoulder pads incorporated and therefore emphasizes this section nicely.
Underneath, I am wearing a plain white t-shirt with gold colored print and an amazing tartan skirt made of tweed.
FYI, do not pass tartan-patterns this season, as they are an absolute must-have! If you want my advice, you should at least count one piece as part of your wardrobe, and it does not matter if it is a pair of pants, a skirt, a blazer or a coat. You can never go wrong with tartan. Currently, it is very trendy to wear and it will always be a true iconic piece.
And as I love layering-looks, I am wearing a Dsquared2 jeans underneath the tartan-tweed skirt by Balmain. You could say that skirts and dresses are usually not my favorite pieces of fashion to wear, but thanks to the “skirt over jeans” layering I feel perfectly comfortable.
In order to complete my look, I have added this super cute Shell Clutch “V” bag made of suede by Lili Radu, which matched in terms of color nicely with the Balmain skirt.
The black suede pumps with the small patent-leather details at the tip of the shoe are by Tom Ford.
